Voraxaze (glucarpidase) Efficacy

CLEAR THE HURDLE OF DELAYED METHOTREXATE CLEARANCE DUE TO ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY WITH VORAXAZE1

VORAXAZE WORKS FAST AND LASTS1

Lowers plasma MTX levels by ≥97% in 15 minutes and sustains reductions for up to 8 days1,*

At each post-VORAXAZE assessment time point, the median MTX concentration was <0.54 μM, corresponding to a median reduction of ≥97% from pre-VORAXAZE measurements.2

VORAXAZE reduced plasma MTX concentrations by ≥97% within 15 minutes in all 22 treatment-evaluable patients.1

Efficacy-chart

Reductions in plasma MTX concentrations were sustained for up to 8 days1,*

Overall primary endpoint: 45% (10/22) of patients achieved a rapid and sustained clinically important reduction in plasma MTX concentration (95% CI: 27%, 65%).1

Sustained >95% MTX reductions

91% (20/22) of patients who received VORAXAZE achieved a >95% reduction in plasma MTX concentrations within 15 minutes of administration that lasted for up to 8 days.1

Sustained MTX reductions to ≤1 μM

77% (10/13) of patients with MTX levels >1 to ≤50 μM who received VORAXAZE achieved a reduction of MTX levels to ≤1 μM within 15 minutes of administration that lasted for up to 8 days.1

*

Results are from a single-arm, open-label study in 22 treatment-evaluable patients with markedly delayed MTX clearance secondary to AKI. The primary endpoint of the study was the proportion of patients achieving an MTX plasma concentration of ≤1 μM at 15 minutes that was sustained for up to 8 days following the initial injection.

CHOOSE VORAXAZE FOR RAPID, NONRENAL ELIMINATION OF TOXIC MTX1

Administration of VORAXAZE, when indicated, should optimally occur within 48-60 hours from the start of the HDMTX infusion because life-threatening toxicities may not be preventable beyond this time point.3
